Independent / 2024 - Current
While stuck in stand-still traffic on I-85, I had an idea to translate our ridiculous daily gridlock stories into a road rage-inducing card game.
Designed the gameplay, ran the launch, self-marketed, and operated the business independently from concept through fulfillment.
Designed the game and its mechanics from scratch, working only with a graphic designer for the look of the cards.
Ran a Kickstarter campaign to fund production that met 160% of its goal with 461 backers.
Handled all marketing independently through social content and connecting with local news media.
Managed manufacturing and fulfillment logistics — getting a physical product made, shipped, and into customers' hands.
Launched web store at ATLtraffic.com for post-Kickstarter sales, continue to self-fulfill orders online and at events.
1,600+ copies sold. A functioning, self-published game from first sketch to customer delivery.
